Conservative Treatments

Filling Treatment

In individuals with poor oral hygiene, bacteria in the mouth accumulate over time and cause the breakdown of tooth structure, leading to sensitivity and widespread toothache. This process begins in the enamel layer and may progress to the dentin or even the pulp, resulting in irreversible tooth decay.

Early diagnosis and intervention are crucial, as they help preserve the natural tooth structure. Decay occurring between adjacent teeth not only damages the affected tooth but can also harm neighboring teeth over time.

During treatment, the decayed portion of the tooth is removed and restored using composite filling materials, allowing the tooth to regain its function and health. This procedure is completed in a single session lasting approximately 20 minutes. In early-stage cases, anesthesia may not even be necessary.

Bonding

Bonding is an alternative aesthetic treatment to laminate veneers for individuals who are dissatisfied with the shape or appearance of their teeth. While laminate veneers are made of porcelain, bonding treatments use composite materials.

The composite materials used in bonding are aesthetic filling materials designed to closely match the natural tooth color and structure. With bonding, deformities, gaps between teeth (diastema), and decay on the front surfaces of teeth can be treated aesthetically.

Bonding treatment is completed in a single session and can be considered an effective alternative to laminate veneers for patients with aesthetic concerns.

Fissure Sealant Application

Fissure sealant is a preventive treatment applied to individuals who have deep anatomical grooves and pits on the chewing surfaces of their teeth. These areas are prone to food accumulation and decay.

By filling these grooves with fluid filling materials, fissure sealants prevent nutrient buildup and create a smoother chewing surface, significantly reducing the risk of tooth decay.

Kole Fillers

Kole fillers are used to treat tooth sensitivity caused by abrasion in the cervical (neck) region of the teeth, which occurs over time due to gum recession at the junction of the tooth and gingiva.

One of the main causes of this condition is aggressive or improper tooth brushing. The treatment is completed in a single session and takes approximately 15 minutes.
