All On 4

All-on-4 Dental Implants

All-on-4 is an advanced surgical treatment concept designed for patients with significant tooth loss or severe bone resorption in the posterior (back) regions of the jaw. This technique allows the placement of a fixed full-arch prosthesis instead of removable dentures, restoring both aesthetics and chewing function with a stable, long-term solution.

In cases where bone volume in the posterior jaw is insufficient for traditional implant placement, four or six specially angled dental implants are strategically positioned by experienced oral and maxillofacial surgeons. The angled placement maximizes the use of existing bone structure, often eliminating the need for complex bone grafting procedures. Depending on the patient’s bone density and anatomical evaluation, either four or six implants are placed to support a full-arch fixed prosthesis.

Following implant surgery, a healing period of approximately three months is required for the implants to fuse with the jawbone through a biological process known as osseointegration. During this time, patients are provided with a custom-made temporary prosthesis. This ensures they maintain normal chewing, speaking, and aesthetic appearance throughout the healing phase.

Once the implants have successfully integrated with the bone, the final stage begins. A durable, highly aesthetic permanent prosthesis is fabricated and securely fixed onto the implants. The entire All-on-4 treatment process is typically completed within 3 to 4 months, depending on individual healing capacity and clinical conditions.

All-on-4 dental implants offer a predictable, minimally invasive, and cost-effective alternative to traditional full-mouth rehabilitation, providing patients with improved oral function, enhanced comfort, and renewed confidence in their smile.
